Customer Case Studies:  Darlings of the Marketing World

Learning how to write case studies in Casey Hibbard's online bootcamp with Carol Tice of freelancewritersden.com has blasted me right back to Journalism 101.  It all makes perfect sense and reminds me just how intuitive constructing a good story really can be. 

And, it's a ton of fun. 

Case studies are popping up everywhere lately.  Or maybe that's just the way it seems because I have become obsessed with them.  This fantastic article explains why they're the newest darling of the marketing world, especially for B2B companies. 

They've become so critical because potential buyers, when deciding whether or not to buy from you, depend on the real-life experiences of others who've used your products or services.

I love writing them and would lunge at the chance to write more.  If you have a satisfied customer story, that's worth sharing.  Let's make it part of your company's documented history.   

Send it to your shareholders.  Include it in a grant proposal.  Flaunt it to the awards committee.  Emblazon it on your web site for the world to see.
